Per our mission to assist people dealing with emotional and anxiety syndromes, Mariah’s Studio offers a broad range of support. Grants
Mariah’s Studio provides targeted support grants to 501(c)(3) organizations, businesses and individuals. Generally, grants are aimed at funding specific projects or programs that help people relieve anxiety and promote healing through participation in the arts. For example, grants may be awarded to pay for event space, studio time, the purchase of equipment, and supplies.
Grants available for Spring 2025:

Grant Title: Art Used to Support Children or Families Experiencing Trauma
Goal Statement: These targeted support grants are aimed at helping individuals or organizations fund art equipment, supplies, or other expenses needed to assist children or families experiencing trauma.
Eligibility: Individuals or organizations experienced in using art to support people with trauma.
Grant Date: January 2025 – February 2026
Grant Range: $500 - $2,500
Reporting Schedule: Interim and Final Report required, Final Report due on or before February 28, 2026

4. Amount of funding requested (include list of intended purchases)

Grant Title: Art Used to Support Persons who have experienced domestic violence
Goal Statement: These targeted support grants are aimed at helping individuals trained to support persons who have experienced domestic violence. These grants are used to fund art equipment or supplies used to minimize the emotional distress and anxiety that arise from experienced trauma.
Eligibility: Employees or volunteers affiliated with a public or private organization that provides support to persons who have experienced domestic violence.
Grant Date: January 2025 – February 2026
Grant Range: $500 - $2,500
Reporting Schedule: Interim and Final Report required, Final Report due on or before February 28, 2026

Fellowships
Mariah’s Studio offers fellowships to students and therapists to help fund the cost of education. For example, fellowships may subsidize the cost of a higher education program, to attend a conference, or participate in other forms of professional development.
Fellowship available for Spring 2025:

Fellowship Title: Fellowship for students enrolled in the University of Maine at Farmington’s Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts program
Goal Statement: This fellowship is aimed at helping future Licensed Clinical Professional Counselors (LCPC) fund a creative arts-focused education. Students enrolled either full or part-time in UMF’s Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts program are eligible for up to $5000 in funding for the 2025/2026 school year.
Eligibility: Individuals enrolled in the University of Maine at Farmington’s Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Creative Arts program
Fellowship Date: Academic Year 2025/2026
Fellowship Range: $500 - $5,000
Reporting Schedule: Interim and Final Report required, Final Report due on or before May 15, 2026
Fellowship Administrator: Holly Ousback

Programs
Mariah’s Studio aims to fund and manage programs that promote healing by bringing together artists and therapists to assist clients suffering from anxiety. Programs may be wide-ranging but focus on helping a specific client group.
